KUCHING, April 13: Aspiring entrepreneurs who want to take their food business to the next level can now apply to take part in Sarawak Gastronomy (SAGO) Incubator 2023 programme.

SAGO Incubator 2023 Organising Partner Evelyn Teo said the programme was designed for early-stage food businesses to help them develop their creative skills in the kitchen and business acumen from go-to-market strategies to financial management and planning.

The 10-week intensive programme will equip entrepreneurs with the skills and networking to grow their food business and succeed in the digital economy.

“The programme encourages the creation of unique and interesting food offerings that showcase the rich diversity of the region’s ingredients, cuisine and the creativity of our people.

“In fact, last year’s alumni produced remarkable success stories of entrepreneurs diversifying their product lines, opening new outlets, creating joint ventures to launching new brands. They are making waves in the industry and building thriving businesses that are changing the game.”
